Adding colour with the EPX painting robots!

The new generation of painting robots is there: MOTOMAN-EPX2800R

The efficient painting robot series of MOTOMAN offers a reliable, first-class and affordable solution to the European market for a large multiplicity of applications. The established types of the PX/EPX series as well as the Slimarm variants (the complete shaft and guide tube is integrated in the wrist, which further reduces the danger of a collision with the workpiece) are suitable for the most different construction units, begun from small parts through to car bodies.

For a short time the painting robot series of MOTOMAN registers a new entrant in form of a shelf-type model: The MOTOMAN-EPX2800R.
Do you need a customized application for a special installation position (for example ceiling mounting)? With the modern EPX series this is realizable and permitted besides new layout concepts, which were before not possible.
 

Special features of the EPX series from MOTOMAN:

  • 3 different wrist variants (three-roll, lemma and hollow)
  • Payloads from 10 to 20 kg
  • Integrated shaft and guide tube in wrist
  • Suitable for coating a variety of parts, from small parts through to car bodies
  • Painting software allows special user programming
  • Reach 1,4 to 2,9 meter

Benefits:

  • Less overspray on the robot
  • Narrower design in the cabin is possible
  • Large working range with a radius of 2,800 mm around the robot
  • 70 mm inside radius of the slim arm wrist (protected hose routing in the arm)
  • Separation of the rotation and bending of the hose packet by 1,400 mm, giving the process hose a longer life time
  • New controller NX100, with MTTR (Mean Time To Repair): < 5 minutes
